Food glorious food!

Year 11 Hospitality and Catering students have been working hard on their final dishes for their practical assessment this half term - the highlight of which was their amazing desserts!

The dishes were the product of two years of hard work, research and practice. Students created a range of sweet treats including: lemon meringue pie, chocolate profiteroles, panna cotta and strawberry tart filled with delicious crème patissiere.

Students stayed back after school to perfect their culinary skills, and made every component from scratch; we are incredibly proud of their effort, attitude and subsequent progress, and look forward to welcoming some of our top chefs back to study Food Science and Nutrition in Year 12.
